Jordan Renzo is one of the actors who has a minor role in the new series launched by Netflix – “The Witcher”. Jordan portrays the character of Eyck of Denesle, the brave knight, who is eager to slay the green dragon.
Early life and family
Jordan Thompson, known as Jordan Renzo, was born on 11 February 1993 in London England. so his zodiac sign is Aquarius and he holds British nationality. He was born into a family of British descent, and has an older brother named Aaron B. Thompson, who is a musician, and a younger sister named Camille Thompson, who has recently given birth to her firstborn son, making Jordan a happy uncle. Jordan shares multiple photos of his mother on his Instagram account, always thanking her for being the biggest supporter in his life.
He wrote that she took him all over the place to auditions and to competitions, and that she forced him to practice the flute! The following year he joined the cast of “Chosen”, a film about the Second World War in which he played Robi. Later that year he appeared in another short film entitled “Troubled”, landing the role of Johnny. By the end of 2016 Jordan landed the role of Matteusz Andrzejewski in “Class”, which is a spin-off from the legendary “Doctor Who” series – according to the plot, Matteusz fell in love with Charlie, who appeared to be an alien. He also faced disapproval from his parents, who didn’t support his gay relationship. Jordan later shared that his old friend and colleague Greg Austin made it ‘quite easy’ for him to play the gay character, and Greg explained that he thought there was no difference between the relationship if it was based on pure love.
In 2019 Jordan played Charlie Brandon in “The Spanish Princess”, the mini-series drama launched by HBO, featuring Charlotte Hope, Ruairi O’Connor and Richard William Pepper. The same year he also appeared as Christian in the horror movie “Boys from County Hell”, and landed the role of Christopher in “Little America”, which is ongoing.

In December 2019 Jordan could be seen in one of the episodes of the new Netflix series, “The Witcher”. Jordan landed the role of Eyck of Denesle, the brave knight who joined the hunt for the dragon, supported by Yennefer of Vengerberg. Geralt, played by Henry Cavill, shared his thoughts on Eyck to his hunt partner, Borch: “Eyck is a match for any monster. He’s even killed manticores and gryphons.
He’s dispatched a few dragons, so I’ve heard. He’s good. But he spoils my business, the swine, because he doesn’t take any money for it”. Even though in the book series Eyck fought the dragon and broke his spine and legs, falling from his horse, in the episode “Rare Species” Eyck was killed by an unknown (probably the reavers) – while he was in the bushes suffering from diarrhea, his throat was slit.
Personal life, girlfriend Sophie Robertson
Jordan has been dating his long-term girlfriend Sophie C. Robertson for more than five years.
Sophie is also developing her acting career, and started acting in 2017, appearing as Karissa in “My Daughter Is Missing” TV movie. Then she could be seen in such movies and series as “Derry Girls” (2018 – present), in which she plays Charlene Kavanagh, “Torvill & Dean” (2018), the TV film in which Sophie landed the role of Ella, and “The Athena” (2018 – present), the family series in which she plays Lexy Fitzgerald. Sophie also played Arabella in “Flack” (2019) and was cast as Magda Coy in the new series “Pandora”, which gave her a chance to visit Bulgaria, which Sophie much enjoyed.
Sophie has appeared on stage in such theatre productions as “August: Osage County” in the role of Karen, “Numbers”, in which she played Jennifer, and “Twelfth Night”, portraying Viola.
Sophie suffers from mental health problems, which she doesn’t name in particular, but has shared that she came a long way to learn how to embrace her health issues, how to deal with them, and that she felt grateful to Jordan for always being by her side to keep her balanced in those hard days of remissions. Sophie also encourages other people with mental health problems not to feel ashamed of their diagnoses, and to live a full life, following the right treatment and talking about it with people who have similar diseases.

Jordan and his friend Hunter Noack used to travel deep into the bamboo forest to meditate and reflect on their lives and what they wanted to do with them: ‘Setbacks are temporary, turmoil is always a constant, but victory will show if you keep the wick lit’, Jordan wrote on his Instagram account, encouraging his followers and fans to never lose belief in their better future. Jordan and Sophie participate in Pride Parades in London every year. Jordan plays the guitar, the flute and the piano. He once tried and even enjoyed rock climbing. Jordan enjoys singing (he has got a tenor); he also practices stage combat. Jordan supports the ideas of Greta Thunberg, caring about climate changes and other environmental issues.
