Childhood and education
Debby was raised in a middle-class family in Nashville – her mother was a housewife while her father owned a small store in Nashville. Debby became interested in design at a very early age, and later open her own designing business – she matriculated from a high school in Nashville before enrolling at Wesleyan University, from which she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in 1977.
Debby’s career
Debby became interested in interior and exterior design after graduating from college, but after she married Bill Belichick, she became a housewife focused on taking care of their home and raising their children. Debby received quite an amount of money from Bill as a divorce settlement, which she used to support her children as well as to launch her “The Art of Tile & Stone” design store, located in Massachusetts, which gained a lot of attention after its website was launched on the internet.
Love life and marriage with Bill Belichick
Debby met Bill while they were both studying at Wesleyan University – at the time, Bill was playing college football as well as lacrosse and they were friends for a year before becoming really close and starting to date. They agreed to defer marriage until they both graduated, and so tied the knot in 1977.
The couple has three children – their oldest child Amanda began playing lacrosse while attending Wesleyan University, and went on to become a lacrosse coach at Rosemary Hall preparatory school.

Today, Amanda is the head coach at Holy Cross College. Their second child, Stephen attended Rutgers University, where he played football and lacrosse and became an assistant coach of the New England Patriots American Football team in 2012. Debby and Bill’s youngest child Brian attended Trinity College, where he played lacrosse just as the rest of the family. Brian was hired to work as a scouting assistant of the New England Patriots around the same time Stephen became their assistant coach.
Debby and Bill separated in 2004, although the public didn’t learn about their separation until 2006.
In 2004, Bill started seeing Sharon Shenocca who worked as a receptionist for the New York Giants Football team, which eventually led to Debby leaving him. Bill was sending cash gifts to Sharon and also bought her a house for $2.2 million – the two dated for a short period of time before splitting. After Sharon, Bill started dating Linda Holliday, while it appears that Debby has remained single since her divorce from Bill.
Hobbies and other interests
Debby is a big fan of all kinds of art, and first started going to museums and photography exhibitions while attending high school.
She is also interested in architecture and is a gardener. She enjoys listening to music, especially classical, so is also keen on going to the opera, and saw several with her husband Bill – she’s continued to watch them on her own. William Stephen Belichick was born in Nashville, Tennessee USA, on 16 April 1952 – his zodiac sign is Aries, and he holds American nationality. Bill is an American Football coach, currently serving as the head coach of the New England Patriots who compete in the National Football League (NFL) – Bill is considered to be amongst the best football coaches in the history of NFL.
Bill was raised in Annapolis, Maryland by his mother Jeannette and father Steve – he is of Croatian descent as his paternal grandparents came from Croatia in 1897. His father Steve was an assistant football coach, and Bill often attended matches with him – by watching his father and his friends, Bill learned how to break down game films at the age of nine. He attended Annapolis High School before enrolling at Phillips Academy, from which he went on to study at Wesleyan University, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in economics in 1975. While there, he played football, mostly center and tight end.
His career as a coach was launched in 1975, when he became an assistant coach of the Baltimore Colts. The next year he joined the Detroit Lions, and in 1978 began coaching the Denver Broncos. From 1979 to 1990 he coached New York Giants, and from 1991 to 1995 worked with the Cleveland Browns. He spent 1996 with New England Patriots and went on to coach New York Jets from 1997 to 1999.
In 2000, Bill began coaching New England Patriots once again, and was given almost complete control over the team – he has been coaching the team since then, and has had only one losing season, the first one.
