Before pursuing acting Alexander played hockey, and was an active player from the age of eight until he turned 18. However, as he got older he became interested in acting, and enrolled at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama in Cardiff, from which he eventually graduated in 2009.

Career Beginnings

Alexander started his career with the role of Dylan in the TV drama series “Crash” (2009-2010), and continued with the part of Lewis Cutler in the soap opera “Doctors” (2010) in the episode “Master of the Universe”, which earned several award nominations, including the Best Single Episode and Spectacular Scene of the Year by the British Soap Awards.

In the same year he had several other roles, as Tom Evans in the TV series “The Indian Doctor”, and as Iolo in the TV series “Pen Talar”.

Rise to Stardom

As he continued his acting career, Alexander started to be cast in more notable roles, for example as Mordred in the TV fantasy-drama series “Merlin” in 2012, and although featuring in only 11 episodes of the award-winning series, Alexander became a national star. He made progress in 2013 with the role of Private Keenan in the TV mini-series “Privates” (2013), and as Malcolm in the film “Macbeth”.

It was in 2015 that Alexander appeared in his most famous role, as Philippe I, Duke of Versailles in the TV series “Versailles”, appearing in 30 episodes of the award-winning series. Born Lauren Bonner on the 26th March 1988, in England, she is best known to the world for her appearance in the music talent show “Over the Rainbow”. She went to Hinckley Speech and Drama Studio, starting from as early as two years old, and later studied BTEC National Diploma Performing Arts at Stratford-upon-Avon College.
