Alexander Vlahos was born on the 30th July 1988, in Tumble, Carmarthenshire Wales; of Greek and Welsh ancestry he spent his childhood in Llantrisant, Mid-Glamorgan.
Before pursuing acting Alexander played hockey, and was an active player from the age of eight until he turned 18. However, as he got older he became interested in acting, and enrolled at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama in Cardiff, from which he eventually graduated in 2009.
Career Beginnings
Alexander started his career with the role of Dylan in the TV drama series “Crash” (2009-2010), and continued with the part of Lewis Cutler in the soap opera “Doctors” (2010) in the episode “Master of the Universe”, which earned several award nominations, including the Best Single Episode and Spectacular Scene of the Year by the British Soap Awards.
In the same year he had several other roles, as Tom Evans in the TV series “The Indian Doctor”, and as Iolo in the TV series “Pen Talar”.
