Who is Alexander Vlahos?
Alexander Vlahos is a Welsh actor who achieved fame as Philippe, Duke of Orleans in the TV historical drama series “Versailles” (2015-2018), and is also known to the world as Mordred in the TV fantasy-drama series “Merlin” (2012), in addition to other roles he has secured so far in his young career.

Alexander Vlahos was born on the 30th July 1988, in Tumble, Carmarthenshire Wales; of Greek and Welsh ancestry he spent his childhood in Llantrisant, Mid-Glamorgan.
Before pursuing acting Alexander played hockey, and was an active player from the age of eight until he turned 18. However, as he got older he became interested in acting, and enrolled at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama in Cardiff, from which he eventually graduated in 2009.
Alexander started his career with the role of Dylan in the TV drama series “Crash” (2009-2010), and continued with the part of Lewis Cutler in the soap opera “Doctors” (2010) in the episode “Master of the Universe”, which earned several award nominations, including the Best Single Episode and Spectacular Scene of the Year by the British Soap Awards.
In the same year he had several other roles, as Tom Evans in the TV series “The Indian Doctor”, and as Iolo in the TV series “Pen Talar”.
Rise to Stardom
As he continued his acting career, Alexander started to be cast in more notable roles, for example as Mordred in the TV fantasy-drama series “Merlin” in 2012, and although featuring in only 11 episodes of the award-winning series, Alexander became a national star. He made progress in 2013 with the role of Private Keenan in the TV mini-series “Privates” (2013), and as Malcolm in the film “Macbeth”.
It was in 2015 that Alexander appeared in his most famous role, as Philippe I, Duke of Versailles in the TV series “Versailles”, appearing in 30 episodes of the award-winning series. Alexander became a world star thanks to the success of the series, and from there on he continued with further success, most recently starting to portray Dai in the TV crime-drama series “Bang” (2020).
Other than his on-screen work, Alexander has showcased his skills on stage, as he’s appeared in several plays, making his debut in 2013 as Pavel Yeletsky in “Fortune’s Fool”.
The same year he was Malcolm in “Macbeth”, directed by Kenneth Branagh, and later Alexander played Romeo in “Rome and Juliet”, and also in 2018 he was Hook in the play “Peter Pan”.
Voice Over Work
From 2012 to 2016, Alexander worked on the series of audiobooks – “The Confessions of Dorian Gray” – as the lead character Dorian Gray, and voicing Hamlet in the audio drama “Hamlet”, both for Big Finish Productions. To speak further about his work, he voiced Prisoner Zero in the animated series of the same name in 2016, among numerous other projects on which he has worked.

Born Lauren Bonner on the 26th March 1988, in England, she is best known to the world for her appearance in the music talent show “Over the Rainbow”. In her childhood, Lauren had problems with hearing, and had to use two hearing aids, but luck smiled upon her, and her hearing recovered completely by the age of 18.
She went to Hinckley Speech and Drama Studio, starting from as early as two years old, and later studied BTEC National Diploma Performing Arts at Stratford-upon-Avon College. She also studied acting at the Guildford School of Acting, from which she graduated in 2009. She has been more focused on singing and stage acting, and for now has paved her way in the West End, appearing in several plays including “Grease”, and “Bend It Like Beckham”, among other projects.
