She spent four months living in Los Angeles, California USA when she was 12, as she was shooting for the “Tell Me You Love Me” HBO series. She is an only child, and attended both elementary and high school in Toronto, while she began taking drama classes at the age of seven, starring in several commercials and advertising campaigns by the time she turned 10. After matriculating from Etobicoke School of the Arts, she focused on her acting career, and didn’t enroll at college.

Career as an actress

Aislinn made her debut TV series appearance in “The Famous Jett Jackson” in 2000, and went on to appear in two episodes of “Doc” and “In a Heartbeat” in 2001.

She made her debut film appearance in “Sister Mary Explains It All” in 2001, and was then invited to appear in two movies in 2003, entitled “Do or Die” and “Betrayed”. She gained recognition after she starred as Hannah Woodall in the “Wild Card” TV series from 2003 to 2005, which also starred Joely Fisher and Chris Potter, and follows Zoe, a Las Vegas blackjack dealer, who becomes an insurance investigator after her sister dies in a car accident.
