Who is Myles O’Neal?
American model, social media star and DJ Myles O’Neal was born in Los Angeles, California USA on 8 May 1997, making Taurus his zodiac sign. He’s probably known best for being the stepson of famous American retired professional basketball player Shaquille Rashaun ‘Shaq’ O’Neal, who spent 19 years competing with six teams in the National Basketball Association (NBA), during which he won four NBA Championships, was named NBA Finals Most Valuable Player (MVP) thrice and was once NBA MVP; Shaquille’s widely believed to be one of the best basketball players of all time, and is today working on the show “Inside the NBA” as a sports analyst.
Education and early life
Myles was raised in Santa Monica, California alongside his four step-siblings, by their mother Shaunie Henderson who’s an American TV personality and executive producer of reality shows “Baller Wives” and “Basketball Wives LA”, and his step-siblings’ biological father Shaquille; Myles hasn’t spoken about his biological father, but it’s believed that he abandoned Shaunie before Myles was born.
He was legally adopted after Shaunie and Shaquille exchanged vows on 26 December 2002; the two filed for divorce on 4 September 2007, but withdrew the request after they were able to reconcile, then filed for divorce again on 10 November 2009, and it was finalized in 2011.
Myles studied at a local high school in Santa Monica, California and was mostly into basketball during his four years there; it was widely believed that he would follow in his step-father’s footsteps and become a professional player, but Myles eventually left the sport behind, and focused on his career as a model.
He matriculated in 2015, and then enrolled at Santa Monica College, from which he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in 2019.
Myles’ career
Myles was 21 when he walked the catwalk for Dolce & Gabbana Spring Collection at the 2018 Milan Fashion Week, while he then also walked for Michael Kors, Vera Wang and Diane von Furstenberg, amongst numerous others.
He made his debut reality show appearance in a 2016 episode of his mother’s show “Shaunie’s Home Court”, in which Shaunie starred alongside her husband and children; it follows her as she’s raising her children. In 2019, Myles appeared in an episode of the show “Basketball Wives”, which starred Jennifer Williams and Evelyn Lozada, and follows the lives of women who are married to, or are girlfriends of professional basketball players.
Also in 2019, Myles appeared in an episode of the reality show “The Hills: New Beginnings”, and the following year saw him guest star in an episode of the reality show “Shaq Life”, which starred Shaquille O’Neal, Samuel L. Jackson and Snoop Dogg, and follows Shaq’s career.
Most recently, in 2022, Myles starred in all nine episodes of the reality show “Relatively Famous: Ranch Rules”, which also starred Taylor-Ann Hasselhoff and Jasmin Lawrence, and follows eight celebrity children as they’re working and living together on a ranch in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

Myles might not have his own YouTube channel, but is nevertheless quite popular on the video sharing service, as many users have uploaded videos about him onto their own channels; most of these show him spending time with his family, while others aim to cover his early life and education. His #1 video “Best Of Shaunie O’Neal & Shareef, Shaqir & Myles (Compilation) | Basketball Wives” was uploaded by VH1 on 4 November 2019, and has since been watched over 2.2 million times; the title says it all.
Myles’ #2 video “Shaunie O’Neal’s Kids Face Off In A Family Basketball Game | Shaunie’s Home Court” was posted by VH1 on 18 July 2016, and has since been viewed close to 1.8 million times; it follows Shaquille’s children as they’re playing basketball against each other.
His #3 video “Myles & Shaunie O’Neal Check Out Luxury Apartments | Shaunie’s Home Court” was posted by VH1 on 25 July 2016, and has been watched over 1.3 million times; it features Myles and his mother as they’re checking out luxury apartments.
Love life and relationships
One can rarely hear Myles speak about his love life in public, but it’s known that he’s today in a relationship with American social media star and model Angelica Streetman.
The two have uploaded a number of pictures and videos which feature them together onto their social media accounts; more than 7,000 people are following Angelica on Instagram today, and she’s posted close to 120 pictures, with most of these having her attractive body in focus. Most people believe that Myles and Angelica have been together for more than a year now, but this hasn’t been confirmed by them.
There are no other girls whom Myles has been with, that we know about; he’s in a relationship with Angelica Streetman as of July 2023, hasn’t married and doesn’t have children.

Myles enjoys being active on the internet and is today followed by close to 300,000 people on Instagram, on which he’s posted nearly 250 pictures and videos, with most of these showing him during his everyday life.
