Heida made her first TV series appearance as Carmen in two episodes of “DCI Banks” in 2012. In the following year, she was cast to play Adele in the TV mini-series “Jo”, starring Jean Reno, a mystery crime-drama which followed the story of a veteran detective, Jo Saint-Clair, who solves the most challenging cases.
Heida followed with her roles in “Silent Witness” and “The Cliff” in 2014 before she was cast to play her breakthrough role as Elizabeth Warleggan in the series “Poldark”. From 2015 through 2019, she was seen in 38 episodes of this romantic drama, starring Aidan Turner, which followed the story of Ross Poldark who returned home after the American Revolutionary War and now tries to rebuild his life.
