Career Beginnings and Rise to Stardom
While at university, Stroma posed for various fashion brands including Acne Underwear, then gained recognition when he was cast in the 2009 fantasy film “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince”, and reprised the role of Cormac McLaggen in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1” (2010) and its second part, which was released in 2011. “Harry Potter” is one of the most successful film series – the eight films grossing over $7.7 billion.

In 2011, Stroma portrayed British student Luke Morgan in the American musical comedy film “A Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song.” He starred alongside Lucy Hale, who portrayed Katie Gibbs, his love interest, and performed the songs “Possibilities” and “Knockin” in the film.
